Updates

The launcher checks the release feed by itself — on open and every six hours — and installs the new version under Settings → Launcher updates. Nothing is downloaded unless you ask.

How to update

  • Under Settings → Launcher updates. The release notes show in the update window itself.
  • With a game or server open, the button stays disabled until you close the session, so it is not cut off midway.

Everything signed

  • Only a package whose signature matches the public key bundled in the launcher gets in; anything else is refused.
  • Every release file ships with a .sig, and every download has its hash checked against what the provider declares.
  • Downloads and API calls never follow a redirect from HTTPS to HTTP.
